My kids taught me everything I don't know.

Picks and Pans

May 12th, 2008 · 10 Comments

The girls made breakfast and it was so big we didn’t even want to eat lunch. The wouldn’t let me do a thing. Not even dishes.

Then they made dinner that I got to pick out, and it was so big we could hardly stuff down the dessert. Again, I did nothing, except open gifts.

Post Mother’s Day, I have gained back the three pounds I lost along with an additional one, and can feel my pants a bit more than I could on Friday. It was a good Mother’s Day. I got flowers for outside, which I love, and some new pans.

The best thing about these pans is that they are proof of a miracle that am considering submitting to the Vatican.

Last week I happened to mention to my husband that I needed new non-stick pans as they were all worn away (which means we probably at the teflon coating and are full of non-stick toxins) and that I needed replacements. Good God, he actually listened to me! And got it right! After 28 years of marriage – halleluja!

    Happy Mother’s Day!

FYI – I am sooooo jealous. I have told Dummy for the last SIX gift-giving holidays (Valentine’s Day ’07, Mother’s Day ’07, My b-day, Christmas ’07, Valentines’s Day ’08 and Mother’s Day ’08) that I want to get my car window’s tinted because Peanut can’t stand the glare of the sun. Not even for selfish reasons, I want the tint for my baby girl’s sensitive eyes.

Car windows … nope, not tinted. Peanut still pissed.

See why I call him Dummy??? LOL

I only have one comment – MUST BE NICE :)

I’m still thinking that my DH is deaf.

Mmm, I love shiny new pots and pans. Got some at Christmas (for the same reason you needed new ones – I haven’t been sick yet from eating non-stick coating!).

    *sob* I’m crying with jealousy.

I’d like to know the brand name of these pans. We keep buying duds!
