My husband is a frugal guy so he shocked the stuffing out of me when he ordered a turducken for about $75 to TEST it! Yes, a test. He is planning on buying 2, count ‘em, 2 of them to serve the extended family on our summer vacation. That’s about 30 people, mind you. The test is this Memorial Day. He is cooking it.
When I was in charge, I did hamburgers and the next year pizza. Pennies on the dollar compared to his shopping bill. I don’t get why he gets so crazy over this vacation thing. He is really making me look bad. So bad that now I feel compelled to match his craziness to show the family that I too care about their fun and happiness.
I am buying the megastation. It’s this floating party raft with 2 ,count ‘em 2 coolers right on the silly thing. He thinks he will get points with the family with his silly bird. Wait until I get this baby in the water. He’s not the only one willing to spend a few bills for vacation fun.
My megastation will shoot his dinner extravaganza right out of the water.
He might think he’s got this thing all sewn up but it ain’t over until the fat lady sings. And I am just warming up.

So funny! I personally don’t like the “duck” part of turducken.

Be sure to let us know how it tastes! I like duck skin/fat, but the meat is too stringy for me.

Let us know how it is. I’ve always wondered and have never ordered one. Looks like your idea will be a big winner!

Hi! What a lovely husband you have and so caring. The world needs more men like him and you can count your lucky stars that you have him.
Now, sometime ago I brought a diamond (huge) ring for my lovely wife. A short time later for my birthday, my wife brought me a ride on lawnmover.
Isn’t love grand? – Peter

Turducken? I don’t even want to know what that is. Perhaps one of those genetically modified animals? That megastation totally rocks, though.

Used to live in Louisiana where turduckens were common. Now am in Illinois and haven’t heard anyone mention them.
