Since December of 2007, the Motherwise Family Funnies Carnival has enjoyed shedding the limelight on the blog posts of others. Yes, the wit and humor of other parents is given exposure as they share the things that go wrong in their families so that we can all feel better about our own mistakes and foibles by reading the Family Funnies Carnival.
But this dear reader, is not what the MUPY award is all about. No, the MUPY was born out of the sheer frustration that turned into entertainment (Wait, that sounds like the origins of family humor…). You see, some people can’t read and submit all sorts of unrelated and stupid material for a carnival that is clearly marked, labeled and described as only accepting posts about families or things that are funny, or both.
Yes, I am beginning the presentation of the MUPY Award on this 30th day of March (3 days late for my carnival post – so what’s new?) in the year 2009 to the Most Unrelated Post each month. This way I can release my frustration with these lame entries from people posting willy-nilly, and in the spirit of great fairness, give the winner a link. Yes, a MUPY link will be awarded to each month’s winner with the most lame and unrelated submittal that made me guffaw the most. And now, without much further fanfare…

Its the first time i heard of this award giving body…well..its worth reading and watching it.Has a unique approach on topics…and very catchy.Moms would love to hear on this and would boost thier morale too!
