Getting a nice brown color can make you look so much nicer, especially your fat areas. I have always contended that tan fat looks much better than white fat. When they began to warn us of the perils of sun damage, I was in a quandry of what to do. Then I found out you can get a painted on tan. Yes, the wonders of airbrush makeup have given people another option to render their fat less awful looking. (Get it, render your fat? Oh, I know I date myself but I can’t help it.)
Okay, I had never heard of the benefits of a Seaweed Bath, but then I found this online.
My daughter has sensitive skin that is prone to eczema, so I was curious. This is what I found out – the benefits of seaweed and how folks with skin conditions were starting to use it more and more. I also found out that Northern European and Asian cultures have used seaweed from sea/ocean waters for centuries to alleviate the conditions that lead to irritated and red skin. And you can order it online too from this company at the link above. Interesting...
I read the best selling biography about Cleopatra and it was so interesting that I wanted more, so I watched the Elizabeth Taylor/Richard Burton version of it on Netflix. It was amazingly pretty true to the account in the book that I read, but I have to say that while Liz was beautiful, I don’t think she was that great of an actress. And, if you also want to know, I don’t think Sir Richard was so much of a hunk either. He had skinny legs and no biceps and his six pack was only visible on his armor. Whatever. But I do think old Cleo was beautiful, and had some ancient tricks to enhance her looks like using essential oils. She was amazing, I am sure, and a combination of beauty and brains. My guess is that she was smart enough to find and use all of the beauty products available in her time. In this way, we are very much alike.
